DOLCIARIA VAL D'ENZA was founded in 1977 as a specialist bakery producing freshly-baked cakes for sale throughout the area in and around Reggio Emilia This idea was so successful that the area it covered started to expand and the bakery gradually grew specialising in the production of other bakery products: TARTLETS and LARGE CAKES. in 1990 the company was taken over by the Board'S current Chairman - William Nicolini - who further developed its potential assisted by his skilled and enthusiastic team Dolciaria Val d'Enza is considered as a true Industrial enterprise nevertheless its main focus still remains the "quality of its product" and its "customer's service".
The production process From the dimension of craftsman working exclusively in a few areas in Production process of snacks the North of Italy the company has broadened out over the last decades and now distributes its products throughout Italy and abroad: it has developed its exports from countries in Western Europe where "Val d'Enza" products have been successfully sold for several years to Eastern Europe North Central and South America North Africa and Japan. The value of brand determined by the quality of its product from their packaging to the service offered to customers and the overall efficiency of the company still has further scope for expressing its full potential; this is why its far-seeing management looking towards the third millennium decided to invest in new premises at the end of the Nineties where the whole company moved into on February 7th 2000
The size of the current premises is 6.250 sq m over 22.000 sq m of ground with planning permission for a further 9.500 sq m of building. The whole plant from the raw material batching systems to the ovens and the packing unit are new brand and use the very latest technology. All the new and fully automated production lines are at the cutting edge of technology in Europe providing production capacity of more than 45.000 kg/day of tartlets pies and cakes. The company's quality system is certified according to UNI EN ISO 9001 - Ed 2008 standards by BVQI - SINCERT company.
